Mike baird faces questions over link to liberal fundraiser
Federal Liberal candidate Max Baucus has been under fire for several weeks after reports emerged that he raised at least $20,000 from progressive donors to make up for his political spending that could be seen as insufficient in 2014.
Baucus has already been forced to publicly deny the allegations, but the controversy comes on the heels of revelations that the candidate’s campaign took on the task of fundraising for liberal causes.

When the party had its federal election convention in 2008, the party raised over $2.2-million for the party.
On Wednesday, Baucus himself took to Twitter to deny the charge that he had set up the fundraising to offset his political expenses.
“I am very sorry for any personal embarrassment my conduct may h우리카지노ave caused and, if there is any, I am deeply sorry,” Baucus wrote in a statement. “I stand by my actions. … I took the advice and counsel of our campaign advisers and conducted my own review, and I am proud of them.”
